LAM Action held its fourth Patients’ Meeting virtually on 10th June 2023. The 3 and a half hour event included research updates from Prof Simon Johnson and Dr Debbie Clements, a look at nutrition and LAM, a discussion about dealing with the menopause if you have LAM and the Lucy Falconer Talk was presented by Dr Vera Krymskaya, Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. LAM Action celebrated 25 years with a really positive virtual meeting on 11th June 2022. The 3 hour event included a history of LAM from Prof Anne Tattersfield OBE, research updates from Prof Simon Johnson and Dr Debbie Clements, a tour of the Nottingham research lab, messages from LAM Groups around the world and the Lucy Falconer Talk was presented by Dr Lisa Henske, Director of the Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.
