Watch LAM Action’s 4th Virtual Meeting

LAM Action held its fourth Patients’ Meeting virtually on 10th June 2023.  The 3 and a half hour event included research updates from Prof Simon Johnson and Dr Debbie Clements, a look at nutrition and LAM, a discussion about dealing with the menopause if you have LAM and the Lucy Falconer Talk was presented by Dr Vera Krymskaya, Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. There are chapters marked within the recording so that you can move forward to view different talks.  You can watch the recording of the event here.

Our Annual Meeting is 10 June

LAM Action’s annual meeting will be an online event on Saturday, 10 June from 10:00 to about 14:00 (BST).

Our formal ‘virtual’ AGM will start at 10:00 (BST). Even if you are not a member of LAM Action, we encourage you to attend the AGM to hear about LAM Action’s activities, achievements and financial results for 2022. Following the AGM, we will hold ‘virtually’ our broader annual meeting. We have put together a great programme, which we think offers something for everyone.

London/SE LAM Group In-Person Meeting

London/SE LAM Group In-Person Meeting

For the first time in over two years, the London/SE LAM Group will be meeting in person! Our get-together will be on Saturday, 24 September, from 2:00 pm. We are scouting for a location convenient to a Central London train/tube station and hope to find something with outdoor seating (and hope for suitable weather too!). LAM Action Virtual Meeting celebrates 25 years

LAM Action celebrated 25 years with a really positive virtual meeting on 11th June 2022.  The 3 hour event included a history of LAM from Prof Anne Tattersfield OBE, research updates from Prof Simon Johnson and Dr Debbie Clements, a tour of the Nottingham research lab, messages from LAM Groups around the world and the Lucy Falconer Talk was presented by Dr Lisa Henske, Director of the Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. There are chapters marked within the recording so that you can move forward to view different talks and the event starts about 9 minutes in.  You can watch the recording of the event here.

LAM Action’s annual meeting will be held virtually on Saturday, 11 June 2022. We will kick-off with our formal AGM at 10 am, followed by what promises to be an extra special meeting of presentations and celebrations. This year marks LAM Action’s 25th Anniversary, and our meeting will highlight the tremendous progress made in LAM research, understanding and patient-led achievements over the last 25 years.
