Record a Message for World Wide LAM Awareness Month

June is World Wide LAM Awareness Month and LAM Action would like to mark it by featuring some of your experiences of LAM on Facebook and Twitter and our YouTube channel.

All you need to do is record a short message on your phone, with it turned on its side in landscape mode as shown in the homepage image.   Tell us who you are, where you live, when you were diagnosed and then briefly tell us how LAM has affected your life – the negatives and the positives.

You might want to mention (and film if possible) some of the things that have supported you in living with LAM – your family and friends, your pets, your neighbours or local groups. Perhaps film it outside in your street, garden, or local park to give a sense of place.  Aim to talk for about a minute – just be yourself!

Once you’ve recorded a piece that you are happy with – it doesn’t have to be perfect, we can edit out any mistakes if necessary – please attach it to an e-mail (or if the file is too big use WeTransfer) and send it to david.mercer@office.lamaction.org

Or if you don’t fancy recording a video just send us a written piece (of about 150 words) along with a photo that we can post on Facebook.

Please help us to spread the word about LAM by telling your story and send them to us as soon as you can so that we can have some stories ready for 1st June.
